Shina Vayika

Shina is a multi-talented individual who is a professional dancer, instructor, choreographer, photographer, model, and a mother to four beautiful girls. She was born in Haiti and raised in Trenton, New Jersey. Shina developed a passion for dance at the age of 8, inspired by artists like Ciara, Janet Jackson, Chris Brown, Usher, and Beyonce. Despite not having formal training, she honed her skills by studying her favorite artist, Ciara, and learning her dance moves in her living room. Shina's dream was to become a professional dancer in the music/entertainment industry. In 2016, Shina moved to Naples, Florida, and began searching for dance studios that offered her favorite style, Afro Caribbean dance. Unfortunately, she couldn't find any in the area. Undeterred, Shina started teaching her own classes called "Shina's Afro Caribbean Dance Fusion" in 2018, introducing a new style of Caribbean flavor to the city. Around the same time, she also learned photography and started providing photography services to the community. In 2019, Shina took a leap of faith and quit her 9-5 job to pursue her dream as a professional dancer in the entertainment industry. Her talent and hard work paid off, as she started booking jobs for artists like Chris Brown ft. Drake in the "No Guidance" music video and Will Smith & Martin Lawrence in "Bad Boys 3". In 2021, Shina fulfilled another dream by opening her own dance studio called "Fya Vybz Studios." The studio offers Afro Caribbean dance/fitness classes, photography services, music production, and studio rental space. Now, Shina is not only a mother of four but also a successful professional dancer, instructor, choreographer, entrepreneur, and real estate investor. Her journey continues as she leaves her mark on this earth.
